Woodsman Sour

A commercially distilled Douglas-fir spirit supplies the base of this floral lemon sour. Elderflower liqueur adds sweetness and aroma, while shaking chills the three ingredients without an additional syrup or garnish.

Ingredients

  • 60 ml Clear Creek Eau de Vie of Douglas Fir
  • 30 ml St-Germain elderflower liqueur
  • 15 ml Fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Measure Clear Creek Eau de Vie of Douglas Fir, St-Germain elderflower liqueur and lemon juice into a shaker and add cubed ice.
  2. Seal the shaker and shake briskly until thoroughly cold, about 10–12 seconds.
  3. Fine-strain into a chilled coupe without ice.
