The Phrasemaker

The Phrasemaker brings together Rye Whiskey, Old Tom Gin, Dry Vermouth. This stirred cocktail is served in a coupe.

The Phrasemaker: Amber-brown drink in coupe, no garnish or ice.

Ingredients

  • 22.18 ml Rye Whiskey
  • 22.18 ml Old Tom Gin
  • 29.57 ml Dry Vermouth
  • 7.39 ml Benedictine
  • 7.39 ml Pineapple Syrup
  • 2 dash Chocolate Bitters

Instructions

  1. Combine the measured ingredients in a mixing glass and add ice.
  2. Stir until thoroughly chilled.
  3. Strain into a chilled coupe.
