High-proof bourbon, Henriques & Henriques Rainwater Madeira and Henriques & Henriques Generoso Doce 5 Year Old Madeira form the base of The Charleston. The mixture is stirred and served in a coupe glass.

Ingredients

  • 30 ml High-proof bourbon
  • 30 ml Henriques & Henriques Rainwater Madeira
  • 30 ml Henriques & Henriques Generoso Doce 5 Year Old Madeira
  • 2 dash Angostura Bitters
  • 1 piece orange peel

Instructions

  1. Measure the mixing ingredients into a mixing glass. Reserve any garnish, sparkling topping or side serve.
  2. Add cubed ice and stir until thoroughly chilled.
  3. Strain into the coupe glass.
  4. Finish with orange peel.
