Sweetest Kill

Mezcal and banana-flavored rum are shaken with vanilla, orange juice and lime. Angostura bitters finish the surface of the crushed-ice drink.

Sweetest Kill. Rocks glass with crushed ice, golden citrus body, Angostura bitters on the ice surface and orange wheel.

Ingredients

  • 22.5 ml Liber & Co. Madagascar Vanilla Syrup
  • 45 ml Mezcal
  • 15 ml Ron Colon Red Banana Rum
  • 22.5 ml Fresh orange juice
  • 22.5 ml Fresh lime juice
  • 2 dash Angostura bitters
  • 1 slice Orange wheel, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Measure the ingredients for mixing into a shaker. Keep Angostura bitters, Orange wheel aside for finishing.
  2. Add cubed ice, seal and shake firmly for 10–15 seconds.
  3. Strain into a chilled rocks glass filled with fresh crushed ice.
  4. Dot the measured Angostura bitters over the surface after straining.
  5. Finish with the listed garnish. Serve promptly.
