Rye and dry vermouth meet lemon and grenadine in Knob Creek’s published Scofflaw. Its four-ingredient formula gives both juice and syrup a clear role, with no extra bitters or garnish added to this version.

Ingredients

  • 45 ml Knob Creek 7 Year Old Rye Whiskey
  • 30 ml Dry vermouth
  • 22.5 ml Fresh lemon juice
  • 22.5 ml Grenadine

Instructions

  1. Add the rye, dry vermouth, lemon juice and grenadine to a cocktail shaker.
  2. Fill with ice, seal, and shake until the shaker feels cold.
  3. Strain into a chilled coupe, leaving the shaking ice behind.
  4. Serve promptly.
