Root For Me

White rum and falernum are blended with carrot juice, lime, gum syrup and measured crushed ice. The frozen texture comes from the ice in the blender.

Root For Me. Hurricane glass containing a uniformly frozen orange carrot-rum slush with no intact ice cubes, topped with mint sprig.

Ingredients

  • 7.5 ml Liber & Co. Classic Gum Syrup
  • 52.5 ml White rum
  • 22.5 ml Falernum
  • 30 ml Carrot juice
  • 15 ml Fresh lime juice
  • 1 cup Crushed ice, measured loosely for blending
  • 1 sprig Fresh mint sprig, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place all the measured ingredients except the mint garnish, including the measured cup of crushed ice, into a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth and pour into a hurricane glass.
  3. Finish with the listed garnish. Serve promptly.
