Rome with a View
Dry vermouth and red bitter aperitivo form a wine-and-liqueur sour, lengthened with soda after shaking. Lime and sugar syrup provide the bright core, while an orange wheel contributes aroma without another juice measure.

- 30 ml Aperitivo Mazzura
- 30 ml Dry vermouth
- 30 ml Fresh lime juice
- 22.5 ml Simple syrup (1:1 sugar to water by weight)
- 75 ml Chilled soda water
- 1 piece Orange slice or wedge, for garnish
Instructions
- Measure Aperitivo Mazzura, dry vermouth, lime juice and simple syrup into a shaker and add cubed ice.
- Seal the shaker and shake briskly until thoroughly cold, about 10–12 seconds.
- Fine-strain into a chilled highball glass over fresh ice.
- Pour in the chilled soda water slowly and mix with one gentle lift of a spoon.
- Finish with an orange wheel and serve promptly.
