Bourbon shares equal billing with Amaro Nonino, Aperol and lemon in this modern sour. The two liqueurs supply different bittersweet notes, while fresh citrus keeps the drink structured and lively.

Ingredients

  • 30 ml Bourbon whiskey
  • 30 ml Amaro Nonino
  • 30 ml Aperol
  • 30 ml Fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Chill a coupe glass and measure the ingredients.
  2. Add the non-carbonated liquid ingredients to a shaker.
  3. Fill the shaker with ice, seal, and shake briskly for about 10–12 seconds.
  4. Strain into the chilled coupe glass.
  5. Serve promptly.
