Nightwatch

Coffee liqueur shares the main measure with gin, while a smaller pastis portion introduces an anise component. The published drink is shaken and served in a coupe without dairy, espresso or a garnish.

Ingredients

• 30 ml London dry gin
• 30 ml Coffee liqueur
• 7.5 ml Pernod Classic pastis

Instructions

1. Measure gin, coffee liqueur and Pernod pastis into a shaker and add cubed ice.
2. Seal the shaker and shake briskly until thoroughly cold, about 10–12 seconds.
3. Fine-strain into a chilled coupe without ice.
