Limoncello Spritz

Limoncello supplies a concentrated lemon accent to sparkling wine and soda. A small splash of fresh lemon and basil leaves gives this published version another citrus-and-herb dimension without turning it into a shaken sour.

Ingredients

• 90 ml Chilled Prosecco
• 30 ml Limoncello
• 30 ml Chilled soda water
• 5 ml Fresh lemon juice
• 2 leaf Fresh basil leaves
• 1 piece Lemon slice or wedge, for garnish

Instructions

1. Put three or four large ice cubes into a wine glass.
2. Add chilled Prosecco, limoncello and soda water.
3. Add the lemon juice and the two basil leaves, then stir gently.
4. Finish with a lemon slice and serve promptly.
