Last Word

Equal parts gin, green herbal liqueur, maraschino and lime create a compact sour with several aromatic layers. Exact measuring matters because no single ingredient is intended to dominate the equal-parts structure.

Ingredients

  • 22.5 ml London dry gin
  • 22.5 ml Green Chartreuse
  • 22.5 ml Maraschino liqueur
  • 22.5 ml Fresh lime juice

Instructions

  1. Chill a coupe glass and measure the ingredients.
  2. Add the non-carbonated liquid ingredients to a shaker.
  3. Fill the shaker with ice, seal, and shake briskly for about 10–12 seconds.
  4. Strain into the chilled coupe glass.
  5. Serve promptly.
