July on Royal Street

White quinquina and gentian aperitif lead a built drink supported by reposado tequila and Bénédictine. A bar-spoon measure of lemon adds a little acidity without making this a full-sized citrus sour.

Ingredients

  • 30 ml Mattei Cap Corse Blanc quinquina
  • 30 ml Salers Gentian Apéritif
  • 15 ml Reposado tequila
  • 15 ml Bénédictine
  • 5 ml Fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Fill a rocks glass with ice.
  2. Add Mattei Cap Corse Blanc quinquina, Salers Gentian Apéritif, Reposado tequila, Bénédictine and lemon juice.
  3. Stir from the bottom of the glass until evenly mixed and cold.
