Jack Rose

Applejack provides the base for a lemon sour sweetened with pomegranate grenadine. Laird’s concise formula uses three ingredients and a hard shake, giving the finished drink a pink-red color without needing an added garnish.

Ingredients

  • 60 ml Laird’s applejack
  • 22.5 ml Fresh lemon juice
  • 15 ml Pomegranate grenadine

Instructions

  1. Add the applejack, lemon juice and grenadine to a cocktail shaker.
  2. Fill with ice, seal, and shake until the shaker feels cold.
  3. Strain into a chilled coupe, leaving the shaking ice behind.
  4. Serve promptly.
