Fin de Siècle

A small Amer Picon measure adds a bitter-orange component to gin and sweet vermouth. Orange bitters reinforce that aroma while the clear, stirred formula contains no citrus juice or separate syrup.

Ingredients

  • 45 ml London dry gin
  • 22.5 ml Sweet red vermouth
  • 7.5 ml Amer Picon
  • 1 dash Orange bitters

Instructions

  1. Pour gin, sweet vermouth, Amer Picon and orange bitters into a mixing glass filled with ice.
  2. Stir smoothly until cold, about 20–30 seconds.
  3. Strain into a chilled coupe without ice.
