Elderthorn

Brandy anchors equal smaller measures of elderflower liqueur and Cynar in this compact drink. Stirring keeps the floral and bitter-liqueur components clear, with no citrus juice or garnish in the published formula.

Ingredients

  • 30 ml Brandy
  • 15 ml St-Germain elderflower liqueur
  • 15 ml Cynar

Instructions

  1. Pour brandy, St-Germain elderflower liqueur and Cynar into a mixing glass filled with ice.
  2. Stir smoothly until cold, about 20–30 seconds.
  3. Strain into a chilled coupe without ice.
