Chutes and Ladders

Tequila leads Swedish punsch and white wine aperitif in a lime-accented shaken cocktail. The two modifiers supply distinct sweet and botanical components, with orange peel finishing the larger coupe serving.

Ingredients

  • 45 ml Blanco tequila, 100% agave
  • 30 ml Kronan Swedish Punsch
  • 30 ml Cocchi Americano Bianco
  • 15 ml Fresh lime juice
  • 1 piece Orange peel, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Measure blanco tequila, Kronan Swedish Punsch, Cocchi Americano Bianco and lime juice into a shaker and add cubed ice.
  2. Seal the shaker and shake briskly until thoroughly cold, about 10–12 seconds.
  3. Fine-strain into a chilled large coupe without ice.
  4. Express the orange peel over the surface and add it.
