Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

Pisco and dry pear spirit form a split base for lime and pineapple gum syrup. Shaking combines the citrus and syrup before a large-cube serving finished with cinnamon and a lime wheel.

Ingredients

  • 30 ml Pisco
  • 22.5 ml Fresh lime juice
  • 22.5 ml Prepared pineapple gum syrup
  • 15 ml Purkhart Pear Williams Eau-de-Vie
  • 1 piece Lime slice or wedge, for garnish
  • 1 pinch Ground culinary cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Measure pisco, lime juice, pineapple gum syrup and dry pear eau-de-vie into a shaker and add cubed ice.
  2. Seal the shaker and shake briskly until thoroughly cold, about 10–12 seconds.
  3. Fine-strain into a chilled rocks glass over one fresh large ice cube.
  4. Finish with a lime wheel and light cinnamon dusting and serve promptly.
