Breakfast Martini
Orange marmalade brings both peel and sweetness to this gin sour. It needs to be dispersed before the main shake, then strained cleanly so the drink has a citrus preserve accent without large pieces of rind.

Active preparation: 3 minutes
Ingredients
- 52.5 ml London dry gin
- 15 ml Cointreau
- 15 ml Fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp Orange marmalade
- 1 piece Orange slice or wedge, for garnish
Instructions
- Chill a coupe. Stir the marmalade with gin, Cointreau and lemon in a shaker to loosen the preserve.
- Add cubed ice and shake firmly until thoroughly chilled.
- Fine-strain into the coupe to remove rind pieces.
- Set the orange wedge on the rim and serve without ice.
