Bourbon Rickey

Bourbon, lime and soda make a tall drink with a lively citrus edge. Wild Turkey’s published Rickey includes simple syrup and a shaken base, so this entry preserves that specifically sweetened version rather than silently changing its formula.

Ingredients

  • 60 ml Wild Turkey bourbon
  • 15 ml Prepared simple syrup
  • 15 ml Fresh lime juice
  • ml Chilled soda water
  • 1 piece Lime wheel

Instructions

  1. Shake the bourbon, syrup and lime juice with cubed ice until cold.
  2. Strain into a highball over fresh cubed ice.
  3. Top with chilled soda and stir gently.
  4. Add the optional lime wheel.
