Bordeaux Cocktail

Citrus-flavored vodka is softened by a smaller Lillet Blanc measure in this concise stirred recipe. The drink contains no Bordeaux red wine despite its name, and lemon peel supplies the only fresh fruit component.

Ingredients

  • 45 ml Citrus-flavored vodka
  • 15 ml Lillet Blanc
  • 1 piece Lemon peel, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pour citron vodka and Lillet Blanc into a mixing glass filled with ice.
  2. Stir smoothly until cold, about 20–30 seconds.
  3. Strain into a chilled coupe without ice.
  4. Express the lemon peel over the surface and add it.
