Batanga

Tequila, lime and cola make a tall built drink with a salted outer rim. The lime adds fresh acidity alongside the soda, while the salt stays outside the glass as a finishing option.

Ingredients

  • 60 ml Blanco tequila, 100% agave
  • 120 ml Cola
  • 15 ml Fresh lime juice
  • 1 piece Lime slice or wedge, for garnish
  • 1 g Fine salt, for optional glass rim

Instructions

  1. Moisten the outer rim of a highball with the lime garnish and coat lightly with salt.
  2. Add tequila, lime juice and cold cola, leaving room for the ice.
  3. Add cubed ice carefully and stir once gently with a bar spoon.
  4. Set a lime wheel on the rim.
