Bark and Bite

Batavia arrack provides the spirit base for a tonic drink accented with a small génépy measure. A grapefruit peel finishes the tall-volume rocks serving, adding fresh citrus aroma without juice.

Ingredients

  • 45 ml Batavia Arrack van Oosten
  • 7.5 ml Dolin Génépy le Chamois liqueur
  • 120 ml Chilled tonic water
  • 1 piece Grapefruit peel, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Fill a large double rocks glass with ice.
  2. Add Batavia Arrack van Oosten and Dolin Génépy le Chamois liqueur.
  3. Pour in chilled tonic water slowly, then stir once gently.
  4. Express the grapefruit peel over the surface and add it.
