Arnold the Bavarian

A hay-based liqueur joins chilled tea and still lemonade in a tall drink built over ice. The non-alcoholic mixers do not make the finished recipe zero-proof, because the measured liqueur remains an essential ingredient.

Clear amber-gold Arnold the Bavarian in a tall Collins glass over ice with lemon wedge.

Ingredients

  • 60 ml Alpeggio Hay Liqueur
  • 60 ml Black tea, brewed and chilled
  • 120 ml Chilled still lemonade, non-alcoholic
  • 1 piece Lemon slice or wedge, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Fill a Collins glass with ice.
  2. Add Alpeggio Hay Liqueur, chilled unsweetened black tea and Chilled still lemonade.
  3. Stir from the bottom of the glass until evenly mixed and cold.
  4. Finish with a lemon wedge and serve promptly.
