Apple brandy meets two citrus juices and maple syrup in this compact shaken drink. Laird’s published formula specifies bottled-in-bond apple brandy, allowing its fruit character to carry through the lemon, orange and maple combination.

Ingredients

  • 60 ml Laird’s Bottled in Bond Apple Brandy
  • 22.5 ml Fresh lemon juice
  • 22.5 ml Fresh orange juice
  • 15 ml Dark maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Add the apple brandy, both citrus juices and maple syrup to a cocktail shaker.
  2. Fill with ice, seal, and shake until the shaker feels cold.
  3. Strain into a chilled coupe, leaving the shaking ice behind.
  4. Serve promptly.
