Appennini Spritz

Aromatized red wine and a bitter aperitivo share equal measures beneath dry sparkling wine. Built over ice, the drink keeps its wine-led structure and receives a fresh orange slice at service.

Ingredients

  • 30 ml Cocchi Barolo Chinato
  • 30 ml Aperitivo Mazzura
  • 60 ml Chilled dry cava
  • 1 piece Orange slice or wedge, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Fill a rocks glass with ice.
  2. Add Cocchi Barolo Chinato and Aperitivo Mazzura.
  3. Pour in chilled dry cava slowly, then stir once gently.
  4. Finish with an orange slice and serve promptly.
