American Gumption

American Gumption brings together Bonded Bourbon, Laird's Bonded Apple Brandy, Maraschino. This stirred cocktail is served in a rocks glass over ice.

American Gumption: Amber drink in rocks glass, one large cube and orange twist.

Ingredients

  • 29.57 ml Bonded Bourbon
  • 29.57 ml Laird's Bonded Apple Brandy
  • 7.39 ml Maraschino liqueur
  • 3.7 ml Demerara Syrup
  • 1 dash Angostura Bitters
  • 1 dash Orange Bitters
  • 1 portion Orange twist, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine the measured ingredients, excluding the garnish, in a mixing glass and add ice.
  2. Stir until thoroughly chilled.
  3. Strain into a rocks glass over one large ice cube.
  4. Finish with orange twist.
