Alabama Slammer

Sloe gin, amaretto and a peach-and-spice whiskey liqueur share equal measures under orange juice. Shaking combines the three sweet liqueurs with the citrus, creating a fruit-led long drink served over fresh ice.

Ingredients

• 30 ml Southern Comfort Original liqueur
• 30 ml Amaretto liqueur
• 30 ml Sloe gin liqueur
• 60 ml Fresh orange juice
• 1 piece Orange slice or wedge, for garnish
• 1 piece Cocktail cherry, for garnish

Instructions

1. Measure Southern Comfort Original liqueur, amaretto liqueur, Sloe gin liqueur and orange juice into a shaker and add cubed ice.
2. Seal the shaker and shake briskly until thoroughly cold, about 10–12 seconds.
3. Fine-strain into a chilled highball glass over fresh ice.
4. Finish with an orange wedge and cocktail cherry and serve promptly.
